The advantage: The operation of Peltier cooling units is virtually maintenance-free and the units can usually be fully customized. Changes to the design or a design for extreme ambient conditions, e.g. a salt spray-resistant version, are therefore no problem. For example, the performance, noise level, sensors, operating voltage and air flow of the cooling unit can also be optimized to suit its task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air conditioning solutions based on Peltier elements impress with their high functional reliability. As there is no coolant in the device, no leaks can occur. In addition, the units can be installed in virtually any position, work in dusty\/oily environments and even function at temperatures between -20 \u00b0C and 70 \u00b0C without complaint. In addition, this type of cooling unit is already equipped with IP protection class IP 66 in the standard version and can be supplied with either AC or DC voltage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also possible, for example, to integrate a Peltier cooling unit into the control cabinet so that it is located completely inside. The hot side is then ventilated through openings in the control cabinet wall. This also makes it possible to protect the system against vandalism, i.e. the unit cannot be accessed or dismantled from the outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another example of the use of customized Peltier systems is the direct cooling of lasers or optical sensors. As the waste heat from the systems to be cooled is transferred to a specific surface on the housing, surface cooling is often used.
