\u201cStrong and healthy in elementary school\u201d is the motto of the Class 2000 project – an easy-to-implement and effective teaching program. In this project, pupils in grades 1-4 learn what they can do themselves to feel well and feel good. This includes eating and drinking healthily, exercising and relaxing, liking themselves, having friends, dealing with problems and conflicts, thinking critically and saying no. Lm-therm Elektrotechnik AG has now taken on the sponsorship of a class at the Montessori School in Vilshofen. With this sponsorship, Lm-therm covers all the expenses associated with this project: Teaching materials for the children and teachers, personnel costs as well as the deployment of the external health promoters, the organization and further development of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this is the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Around 15 Klasse2000 lessons take place each school year, in which so-called health promoters use interesting materials, games and experiments to introduce new topics, which the teachers then explore in greater depth. The children learn how their bodies work and what is good for them. They learn how important health is and what they can do for it themselves. They also learn how to look after themselves and treat others well. The program begins in the second half of Year 1, when the children have already settled into school, and ends at the end of Year 4.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
