From theory to practice: FOS internship at Lm-therm

In the 11th grade, FOS students have the opportunity to acquire job-related, practical skills as part of an encounter with the world of work. Lm-therm Elektrotechnik also offers FOS students a work placement. This year, Susanna is completing her internship at our company. Over a total of nine weeks, the eleventh-grader will spend time in various departments at FOSBOS Pfarrkirchen, including sales, administration, purchasing, shipping, warehousing and production, giving her not only an insight into the world of work, but also a chance to get a taste of the working world.

Personal responsibility in the internship too

The aim of practical training at the FOSBOS is to acquire practical, job-related skills. For this reason, an internship is carried out in the 11th grade of the technical secondary school in regular rotation (2-3 weeks) with the lessons. During the work placement, the students are supported and guided by a specialist.

Lm-therm Elektrotechnik AG not only supports the students during the internship, but also gives them independent tasks. Personal responsibility is very important to us. This applies to our trainees as well as to our interns and employees. It is not uncommon for interns to become trainees who then go on to make a career with us. We look forward to introducing Susanna to our company and our work.
