Fresh wind at Lm-therm: Aldersbach vacation children build table fans
Once again this year, Aldersbach’s vacation children have the opportunity to take part in the municipality’s vacation program. The vacation program is as varied as the companies in the region that have made it possible.
This year, Lm-therm Elektrotechnik AG also took part and came up with something very special for the technology-loving children. In keeping with the hot temperatures, the girls and boys were able to build their own table fan, which they could then take home with them. The atmosphere among the 8- to 10-year-old vacation children was great and their interest in electrical engineering was high. Perhaps this vacation program was the start of a future technical career for some of the children.
Lm-therm promotes the next generation
Lm-therm is committed to promoting young people in technical professions. In addition to regularly sponsoring regional sports clubs,
the company is also involved in Girl’s Day every year. On this day, interested girls can get a taste of typical “boys'” professions. The aim is not only to get boys interested in technical professions, but also girls.
As a certified training company, Lm-therm Elektrotechnik offers several apprenticeships every year, including for traditional industrial clerks, industrial clerks for foreign languages, combined studies and electronics technicians for systems and devices.
