Successful event on e-mobility in Aldersbach

Aldersbach – Under the motto “Experience electromobility live”, Lm-therm Elektrotechnik AG initiated an informative and entertaining event at Freiherr-von-Aretin-Platz in Aldersbach on June 15, 2024. They were supported by the municipality of Aldersbach and the district of Passau.
After the official welcoming speeches by Deputy District Administrator Roswitha Toso and 1st Mayor Harald Mayrhofer, visitors to the event were able to get an idea of the range of products and services offered by companies based in the region that are active in the field of electromobility. Visitors also had the opportunity to test drive the Tesla vehicles provided by Tesla. AVP Autoland also exhibited current e-cars from various brands. Entertainment was not neglected either. In addition to a beer garden and live music from the band “Drahwurm”, there was a bouncy castle and a popcorn machine for the younger guests.
The final “City Cycling 2024” event also took place as part of the event. In this campaign, 1,486 participants cycled a total of 312,000 kilometers.

Every participating cyclist who stopped by the event was rewarded with a free drink. At a later date, District Administrator Raimund Kneidinger will honor the oldest and youngest participants as well as the team with the most participants.

Electromobility is particularly close to the heart of Lm-therm Elektrotechnik AG. As Manfred Sedlmair, Operations Manager at Lm-therm Elektrotechnik AG, reports, 80% of the Lm-therm fleet consists of fully electric vehicles – including five Tesla Model 3s, two VW ID 4/5s and a Renault Kangoo ZE. Franz Achter, CEO of Lm-therm, also emphasizes that just over 50% of the electricity is supplied by the company’s own PV system. This is also used to charge the e-cars.
Lm-therm also presented itself as an attractive employer in the region. Interested parties can register for taster days or an internship at bewerbung@lm-therm.de or visit the website www.lm-therm.de/karriere/ to find out more about the apprenticeships on offer.

Lm-therm Elektrotechnik AG would like to thank all participants and visitors for the successful and enjoyable event. Together we set a strong example for sustainability and e-mobility in the region.
