FOS Internship at Lm-therm: Thanks to Theresa Gerstl

FOS students gain their first hands-on experience in the working world during their 11th-grade year. Theresa Gerstl, a student at FOS Pfarrkirchen (Business Track), took advantage of this opportunity to complete a nine-week internship at Lm-therm Elektrotechnik AG. During this time, she became familiar with several areas of the company, including sales, administration, purchasing, shipping, production, and warehousing, and was thus able to gain a broad overview of the company’s operations. Her internship is now coming to an end. We would like to sincerely thank Theresa for her dedication and wish her all the best for her future career.

Hands-On Experience with Responsibility

Supported and guided by an experienced professional, Theresa not only gained insights into day-to-day work during her internship but also took on increasingly independent tasks. It is precisely this combination of guidance and personal responsibility that is particularly important to Lm-therm, as it allows interns to gain a realistic understanding of everyday professional life. It is not uncommon for such internships to later develop into apprenticeships, which in turn lead to long-term careers within the company.
