Control cabinet Internal Fan with Thermostat

The control cabinet internal fan ensures uniform air circulation inside control cabinets, electrical enclosures, control boxes and technical housings. By continuously circulating the internal air, local heat build-up (hotspots) is reduced, temperature differences are equalized, and the operational reliability of sensitive electrical and electronic components is significantly improved.

Unlike conventional filter fans, the internal fan does not exchange air with the surrounding environment. This preserves the enclosure`s protection rating while preventing the ingress of dust, moisture and dirt. The internal circulation fan is particularly suitable for sealed control cabinets with a high component density or uneven heat distribution.

Thanks to its adjustable airflow direction, the air stream can be precisely directed both horizontally and vertically towards heat-generating components. This enables targeted cooling of individual assemblies while minimizing temperature differences throughout the enclosure.

As an option, the control cabinet internal fan is available with a pre-wired external thermostat. This significantly reduces wiring time and allows for quick and easy installation. The thermostat automatically switches the fan on when the preset temperature is reached and switches it off again once the temperature has fallen. As a result, the fan operates only when required, reducing energy consumption while significantly extending the service life of the fan.
